Color the Creek adds two murals to downtown Battle Creek

Color the Creek, Battle Creek's mural festival, returned with an amended version this year adding two murals and omitting the events due to the COVID-19 pandemic, said founder Justin Andert. Painting a Mexican style blanket pattern under the Michigan Avenue Bridge was Birdseed Anthony of Denver, Colo. while Remote of Miami, Fl. worked in tandem with Hiero Veiga, also of Miami on Cereal City Tattoo in downtown Battle Creek. Both murals were finished by Friday, Aug. 21.
