Annual fundraiser to publish honorees in Shopper News

Honor a Loved One Through the Trees of Love Fundraiser

Battle Creek, Mich. -- Shine brightly this season by participating in the Bronson Battle Creek (BBC) Volunteers’ Trees of Love fundraiser. This annual event offers a unique and meaningful way to pay tribute to loved ones or thank special people in your life. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year, Trees of Love will be a virtual campaign.
For a minimum $10 donation, the public is invited to purchase “virtual ornaments” to recognize loved ones, according to BBC spokesperson, Carolyn Wyllie.
"Their names will be included in Bronson’s virtual Trees of Love and volunteers will acknowledge the gift to the person designated or to the family of those memorialized," she said. "Additionally, loved one’s name will be displayed on bronsonhealthfoundation.com and in the Battle Creek Shopper News Dec. 17 issue."
Donations can be made at bronsonhealthfoundation.com will be accepted through Dec. 9.
All proceeds to the Trees of Love will help support programs and projects at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital that are funded by the Bronson Battle Creek Volunteers Fund, which is held at the Bronson Health Foundation. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
Past projects supported by this fund include laboratory testing equipment used to deliver faster results, radiation machinery to enhance breast biopsies, an MRI anesthesia unit and a pediatric ambulance.
